The Error Log provides a list of errors that users have encountered. Most commonly these are 404 File not Found errors, meaning that a visitor went to a file that did not exist. Sometimes this caused by search engine robots that are spidering through your site indexing its contents. I would not be too alarmed by 404 errors, if an important page is missing, you will probably now about it. The Error Log displayed in your Control Panel only shows the past 300 entries. If you need a seperate Error Log for your account to be placed in your home directory, please contact our Technical Support Departement. Error Logs are useful if you are developing CGI scripts and need to debug them.
